I got so teary reading this! I relate to a lot of the things you spoke of. The feeling of trying to grasp a memory you hold dearly. The idea that memories are such a part of your identity but they’re ever changing. I especially got teary reading the memory of your parents and yourself frozen in time. You described it so beautifully. Truly such a wonderful piece of work overall! I loved it so much!!!!

With this, for me, you have climbed the same hall of fame in my mind as Ruskin Bond or Robert Frost.

Even after having read it multiple times now, I still feel I could enjoy it more. What a piece, mate!

My word, I can picture everything you wrote so perfectly. I have to say this is one of your best essays I've ever read. I could relate to so many things especially

"Looked at my parents, frozen in conversations since memory temporal.

Because when I look at them, I see them as they are. They haven’t aged a bit in my eye" Damn how true is that
