Blinded by the Night
I tried to question the sky, find meaning in its riddles. All I got was mischief and light that was but a mask for the dark.

Night! Dear Night! With stars studded, bright, let me take a gander at your heavenly light. Moon! Dear Moon! Why a picture of doom rests on your skin? Are you riddled with gloom? Clouds! Dear Clouds! You strafe the sky, aloud yet when the Moon’s bare where is your gray shroud? Stars! Dear Stars! Shining like the tsars, you’ve been twinkling, lately are you drunk at the bars? Sun! Dear Sun! The skies you’ve won, the hemisphere deserter are you having fun? Space! Dear Space! We’re drifting in your grace so dark and mysterious why hide your face? Night! Dear Night! I hesitate, just slight any truth in your deep or just lies, all white?
